Claudia Chalmé’s Bat Mitzvah
For my Bat Mitzvah project, I chose to support Neve Michael, a youth village in Israel where children who can’t live with their families have a safe place to grow up. There, they receive food, shelter, education, and amazing friends. While the government provides their basic needs, there is less support for their Bar and Bat Mitzvah celebrations.
On my last trip to Israel, I had the opportunity to meet some of the girls there, and they are just like us, kids who want to be happy, feel loved, and celebrate simachot. As we approach my Bat Mitzvah celebration, I want them to experience that same joy, with a trip around Israel, a beautiful outfit, a celebration, and the chance to learn with a teacher.
Please help me make this mitzvah possible so they can celebrate their Bar and Bat Mitzvahs too. Thank you so much for supporting my project.

Program Details:
In addition to traditional therapy, the center offers enriching programs such as art therapy, music therapy, and animal therapy. These creative and therapeutic outlets help children express their feelings in a non-verbal way, promoting healing through self-expression and connection. Music therapy programs offer a unique opportunity for children to engage in rhythmic activities, fostering emotional release and communication. Animal therapy, which involves interactions with specially trained animals, provides comfort and support, helping children develop trust and empathy.
The Therapy Enrichment Center also organizes group therapy sessions, helping children build social skills and relationships in a safe, supportive environment. The goal of the center is to provide a holistic approach to rehabilitation, focusing not just on treating trauma but also on empowering children to grow, develop, and thrive. With the support of the Therapy Enrichment Center, children at Neve Michael are given the tools they need to heal and build a better future for themselves.
