Make a difference in the life of a child-kindle a soul and it will give you a lifetime of warmth. As an integral part of our ongoing fundraising efforts, we are seeking child sponsorships.
Each level of sponsorship helps to feed and clothe our children, provide them with a warm home, supply them with schoolbooks, and pay for their teachers and private tutors who nourish their developing young minds for the duration of a school year.
Our “Sponsor a Child” program encourages donors to participate in the upbringing of one of our children by sponsoring that child’s therapies, extracurricular education and enrichment programs over the course of a year. The government provides each child’s therapy at $22 a month. The actual cost per child is $100 – $200. At the same time, we receive $15 a month per child for tutoring, when in reality it costs us between $115 – $215 per month.
Our children are unaware of the financial side of these generous sponsorships. But for them, the mere knowledge that someone on “the outside” is taking care of them, helps fill the void in their lives, heal their emotional wounds and build their confidence.
