Trauma Therapy

Trauma Therapy provides a lifeline for children, offering emotional healing, resilience-building, and compassionate support amid crisis.

Program Details:

In the wake of the recent Swords of Iron War, the Trauma Therapy Program at Neve Michael has become a critical lifeline for our children, many of whom already struggle with deep emotional scars from their painful pasts. Now, as they face the added trauma of war, the fear of rockets in the sky, and the profound grief of losing loved ones, the need for intensive and compassionate care has never been greater.

Our children are not only grappling with the memories of a turbulent childhood, but also the new, raw wounds inflicted by the war. For many, this has triggered symptoms of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)—feelings of anxiety, nightmares, flashbacks, and an overwhelming sense of insecurity. The echoes of sirens and the sight of rockets leave a lingering sense of danger, making it difficult for them to find comfort and peace.

To meet this urgent need, we have expanded our Trauma Therapy Program, offering extra hours of therapy to ensure that no child is left to cope alone. Our dedicated therapists provide a safe and nurturing space for children to express their fears, process their grief, and learn strategies for resilience and emotional healing. The therapy sessions allow  each child to find a way to communicate their pain and begin the journey toward recovery.

This program is about more than just treatment—it is about restoring hope and providing the tools to rebuild a sense of safety and trust in the world. We aim to help these young souls find their way back to a place where they can dream again, where they can imagine a future free from the shadows of trauma.

In times like these, the need for support is urgent, and the commitment to our children unwavering. The Trauma Therapy Program at Neve Michael is a promise to our children that they will not face this darkness alone; we will walk beside them, every step of the way, toward healing and renewal.
